Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 16 / Trend corr J. Babayeva / Test exams will be held at the secondary schools of Baku on Dec. 20.
"The examinations aim to prepare students for the centralized test examinations to be held in March. The results will not be estimated and influence the marks in secondary school certificates," a source at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Education said on Dec. 16.
The centralized test examinations will be held at colleges in February 2009, and examination at secondary schools in March and April. The graduation examinations in the secondary schools will be held in June, 2009.
The results of the test examinations will be taking into account in the evaluation in the second half-year. Annual marks (marks of 10th and 11th classes) and marks of the graduation examinations will be counted at the estimation of marks of school certificates.
In this school year, the centralized testing examinations will cover all secondary schools of Azerbaijan being under the Ministry of Education, Misir Mardanov, education minister, said earlier to journalists. "The graduation examinations will be held in five regional centers of Azerbaijan and the results will be published on the same day," Mardanov said.
