Trial held on people charged of terrorism action against U.S and British Embassies in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 25 / Trend , S.Kazimli/  A member of grouping charged of establishment of religious state in Azerbaijan regards the United States as enemy of Islam and urges his religious brothers to jihad against this country.

Accused Orkhan Alizade did not pledged his guilt during a procedure held on case of members of grouping at the Military Serious Crime Court.

A 20-member gang under head of Kamran Asadov, former officer of the Azerbaijani Army, is charged of Articles 29, 120, 181, 214, 217, 228, 232, 279, 281, 304, 315 and 334 of the Criminal Code. Accused people, including Kamran Asadov, Bakhtiyar Orujov, Farid Jabbarov, Elshan Mammadov, Kamran Babayev, Samir Mehbaliyev, Tarlan Karimov, Edgar Aliyev, Ramil Karimov, Shirvani Babayev, Samir Aliyev, Yalchin Maharramov, Orkhan Alizade, Hajibala Huseynov, Azar Ibadov, Shahriyar Mehraliyev, Ramin Jalilov, Rovshan Abdulaliyev, Ilkin Ismayilov and Vugar Aliyev, are charged of attempting to hold military struggle, armed attack to LUKoil filling station in Baku and terror action against the U.S and British Embassies in Azerbaijan by uniting in a radical grouping.

The accused said that members of grouping did not talk about terrorism actions and blasts to be realized against the Azerbaijani statehood and Constitutional structure.

The procedure lasts on the second half on Dec. 25 with witnesses' testimonies.
