Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 25 / Trend / Partnership agreement between Azerbaijan's TREND news agency and Russia's RIA Novosti news agency is another acknowledgement of the Azerbaijani journalism, its professionalism and prospects. This was made possible by the dynamic development of Azerbaijan, which provided sufficient conditions for artistic and creative media activities, Director General of TREND Ilgar Huseynov said on Dec. 25.
Azerbaijan's TREND News Agency and Russia's RIA Novosti international news agency signed partnership agreement in Baku on Dec. 25. The agreement envisages cooperation in information and multimedia fields, acquaintance with journalistic experience.
According to Huseynov, RIA Novosti is one of the world's largest media, whose very experienced team has achieved considerable success. The news agency has an extensive overseas correspondent network, actively introduces recent scientific and technological innovations to its activities. News issued by RIA Novosti is disseminated throughout the world. The agreement will enable TREND to further strengthen its international image as a serious and reliable supplier of information and multimedia products, to expand the geography of its products supply abroad and to adopt a serious journalistic experience. "I am confident that implementation of our plans will enable the agency to achieve even greater success in near future," he said. During 2008, TREND spent huge efforts to train its journalists. "I am proud of every employee of the company. News issued by TREND from Azerbaijan, Caspian region, Asia, Europe, and Middle East are exclusive, reliable and is in demand," said Director General.
TREND News is a private international news agency, which was founded in Azerbaijan in 1995.
