Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan.15 / Trend , K.Zarbaliyeva/

Responsibility of a doctor in patient's death at the Diagnoz Medical Centre in Khatai District will be determined after a report of examinations.

The Khatai District Prosecutor's Office is investigating this case, the Prosecutor General's Office told Trend on Jan. 15.

This case will be legally assessed basing on a final report of the Forensic Examination Unity of the Health Ministry.

In November 2008, thirty one-year old Ruslan Hamidov's operation on nasal septum deviation resulted in his death at Diagnoz Medical Centre in Khatai District. Doctor Ilgar Hamidov touched the patient's aorta while conducting a rod through his pathways. Hamidov died on an operating table as a result of bleeding of aorta.

Hamidov's relatives said that the operation was an ordinary one and tragedy happened due to the doctor's inexperience and negligence. They appealed to the Khatai District Prosecutor's Office to involve the doctor into crime responsibility.

During preliminary examination medical experts said that the patient died of loss of blood.

The patient underwent nasal septum deviation operation, the Ministry of Health said. Hamidov gave all necessary tests before the operation. Hamidov normally came to his sense after narcosis and talked with his relatives. The patient suffered from hematemesis in seven hours. He was rendered medical aid, whilst it was impossible to cease bleeding and the patient died.
