Turkish Galatasaray club’s head coach dismissed

The Turkish Galatasaray football club's German Head Coach Michael Skibbe was dismissed, the Turkish Milliyet newspaper reported on Feb. 23.

Galatasaray dramatically lost to Kocaelispor where Azerbaijani Footballer Rashad Sadigov plays with 2:5 score in the Turkish Super League on Feb. 22.

The club's management decided to dismiss the head coach after a match in the Ali Sam Yen stadium.

Skibbe was appointed head coach of Galatasaray in summer 2008.

Galatasaray's management is expected to appoint Karl Heinz Feldkamp, Javad Guler and Georgi Haji as the head coach.
