Azerbaijani court remained court's decision regarding demolition of Mosque of our Prophet Muhammad in force.
Appeal of religious community of Yasamal region concerning demolition of Mosque of our Prophet Muhammad upon appeal of Yasamal region executive power was not allowed at the trial in Baku's appellation court on June 30.
Yasamal region court decided to demolish the mosque situated on Murtuza Muhtarov street, 190, on November 28, 2008 upon appeal of executive power of Yasamal region.
Court's decision was explained that uninhabited dwelling of unknown designation was built on indicated address.
Appeal includes request to cancel decision because of its groundlessness and illegality and pronounce judgment about denial of suit.
Demolition of the mosque before court's decision coming into force is illegal, lawyer, representative of religious community of Yasamal region Muhtar Mustafayev told Trend .
The mosque was demolished in April.
Appeal will be lodged to supreme court, lawyer said.
