Interview with candidates passing successfully test exams for legal profession will be held in Azerbaijan. Commission on specialty will set down to interview on July 6, deputy chairman of lawyer college Farhad Najafov told Trend .
Roughly 12 candidates will be invited every day for interview. Legislative issues, right for their intellectual skills will be given to pretenders, he said.
Roughly 471 people passed exams in May 2009. Roughly 71 candidate getting 60 and more points during exams was permitted for interview. The highest result hit 82 points.
Commission on specialty to be conduct interview is formed of five lawyers, three judges and three scientist-lawyers.
Azerbaijan ranks one of last places on number of alwyers among European countries. Earlier German expert Tomas German said in Azerbaijan interview with media outlets that five lawyers fall on each 100,000 people.
Professional lawyers play significant role in making just and objective court decisions, expert said.
Roughly 720 lawyers operate in Azerbaijan.
