The Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister considers it necessary to increase football schools to develop football in the country.
"Recently, the football has developed. It is difficult to gain success in the sport without the support by the state. The football federation should always closely work with the state and increase the number of football schools and academies," Minister Azad Rahimov said in his interview with one of the Slovenian famous newspapers Delo.
The Azerbaijani national football team occupies the last places in the FIFA rating.
Rahimov said the number of the junior football groups should also be increased.
