Trial began on the criminal case of members of an organized gang accused of extortion through intimidation. In the Court on Serious Crimes, a trial began with regards to security officers Riyad security service Malik Rashidov, Elmaddin Guliyev and Khayyam Hasanov.

Trial began on the criminal case of members of an organized gang accused of extortion through intimidation. In the Court on Serious Crimes, a trial began with regards to security officers Riyad security service Malik Rashidov, Elmaddin Guliyev and Khayyam Hasanov.

They are accused under article 178 (fraud) and 182 (extortion) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

The above-mentioned persons made an agreement with a resident of Baku city Fakhraddin Nazarov on his appointment to the post of head of Neftchala district executive power. Despite that the deal was not reached, the defendants demanded money from Nazarova through fear.
Upon the complaint by Nazarov, the defendants were arrested by the employees of department for combating organized criminality of the Interior Ministry.

During the trial, the accused did not recognize themselves guilty.
