Within two months, rules for admission to doctoral studies will be determined in Azerbaijan, the Vice-President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Arif Hashimov told journalists on Oct. 29.
He said within two months, the Ministry of Education, ANAS, Higher Attestation Commission, the Ministry of Justice and Finance will develop proposals on new rules of admission to doctoral studies and send to the Cabinet of Ministers.
These rules must comply with the strategy of scientific development, said Hashimov. Following their approval, admission to doctoral studies will be announced, said the ANAS vice-president.
The Parliament passed a new law on "Education" in June this year.
