A new law "Science" will be discussed in working groups of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) and the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences soon, president of the academy Mahmud Kerimov told Trend on October 29.
He said that the draft of the corresponding law has been prepared. But it has not been submitted to the academy for discussion yet. "After discussions we will speak about the benefits of the new bill," Karimov said.
Grants and mechanisms of their giving will be also discussed in the law 'Science", member of the committee on science and education of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Asef Hajiyev, told media.
MP said that the need to revise the law occurred due to Azerbaijan's joining the Bologna system.
