An Azerbaijani Court has condemned a resident of the Gadabay region, charged of murdering a businessman.
On Nov. 4, the Serious Crime Court sentenced Sevda Mammadova to 10-year imprisonment in accordance with the article 120.1 (murder) of the Penal Code.
According to materials of charges, Mammadova killed Nariman Alasgarov, the director of the Khayal furnite shop in the Dada Gorgud Str. of the Ganja city on Aug. 19 in 2002.
All this time, Mammadova hid from the investigation. She was detained and handed over the investigation on June 17 this year.
