An Azerbaijani court has sentenced a person committing serious crime.
On Nov. 5, the Serious Crime Court issued a verdict on a resident of Baku Aghakishi Tagiyev in accordance with the Articles 120.2.4, 120.2.6 (committed with special cruelty or in publicly dangers way and with the purpose to hide other crime or to facilitate its commitment, as well as connected with rape or other violent actions of sexual nature)
The court sentenced Tagiyev to 13-year imprisonment.
On Aug. 18, 2009, a resident of the Mashtaga town in the Sabunchi District of Baku Tagiev killed his wife Zahida Tagiyeva, strangled her due to jealousy. He voluntarily surrendered to the police.
