Azerbaijani Court sentenced an Iranian citizen accused of drug trafficking. On Nov. 9, the Court on Serious Crimes sentenced Rahimipur Farhang to nine years' imprisonment.
He is accused under articles 206.2 (smuggling), 234.4.3 (illegal manufacture, production, acquisition, storage, transport, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or precursors, committed in large amount) of the Criminal Code.
Rahimipur Farhang was arrested in July by the employees of Bilasuvar customs administration of the State Customs Committee.
