Imdad committee's activity in Azerbaijan aimed at ensuring employment of refugees and law-income families: committee's head

Activity of Imam Khomeni's "Imdad" ("Rescue") Committee of Iran in Azerbaijan is aimed at ensuring the employment of refugees and law-income families, Committee Chairman Huseyn Anvari said
According to Anvari, 1,500 people were employed and received loans totaling 1.5 million manat last year
"It is impossible to calculate the whole amount of assistance provided by "Imdad", while it also deals with moral support for refugees and low-income families. The Committee has brought the Iranian model of employment to Azerbaijan, and through the support of the Azerbaijani government, it is possible carry out the operation throughout the country," Anvari said
An exhibition on refugees' employment has been organized as part of Committee head's visit.
Imdad Committee's representation has been functioning in Azerbaijan since 1993 and providing humanitarian assistance to refugees, IDPs and low-income families in Azerbaijan.
Annual budget of the committee hits $2.5- 3 million
