Caucasus Muslims Board Chairman Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh lauded the activities of the Imam Khomeni's Imdad Committee of Iran in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Pashazadeh thanked the committee for its assistance to refugees, IDPs and poor families in Azerbaijan.
Pashazadeh also expressed his gratitude to the president and Iranian people for a congratulatory letter addressed to him on the occasion of his sixtieth birthday.
Anwari congratulated Pashazadeh on his sixtieth anniversary.
He said Azerbaijan is developing in all spheres and relations between the two countries are based on historical and religious values. He also invited Pashazadeh to visit Iran.
Anwari introduced the newly appointed chairman of the committee's Azerbaijani representative office Mahmud Saidi to the spiritual leader of the Caucasus Muslims.
