A court of appeals refused to consider the case of three brothers convicted of murdering their sisters in Azerbaijan.
According to Trend , the Sumgayit Appellate Court refused to review an appeal today by Tavakkul Ismayilov, Elchin Ismayilov and Elnur Ismayilov who were convicted of murdering sisters Naila and Reyhana Majidova.
The court also refused the prosecutors' appeals to toughen their sentences.
The brothers were charged of murdering Dag Bilidzhi village residents 14-year-old and seven-year Naili and Reyhan Medzhidova.
Tavakkul Ismailov was sentenced to life in prison, Elnur Ismayilov to six years, and Elchin Ismayilov to four years.
