The Azerbaijani Football Federations Association does not have any information about whether the UEFA will place the Azerbaijani and Armenian national squads will one group.
"The UEFA has not given any promises in this regard. The AFFA will treat any UEFA decision with respect," AFFA Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov told Trend today.
According to Armenian media, the UEFA promised that the Azerbaijani and Armenian teams will not be in one group.
The casting of lots will be held Feb. 7, 2010.
The final stage of the 2012 Europe Championship will be held in Poland and Ukraine.
UEFA has announced group staffs to be used at the lot-casting ceremony.
