The prosecutor demanded 15 years imprisonment for the editor in chief of the Azerbaijani newspaper.

Today, the prosecutor demanded 15 years imprisonment for chief editor of the Ideal newspaper, Nazim Guliyev accused of hooliganism and blackmail, at the trial process.

Guliyev was convicted in accordance with the Article 182.2 (blackmail), 182.2.3 (blackmail with violence), 221.1 (hooliganism), 234.1 (illegal manufacture, production, acquisition, storage, transport, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or precursors) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code. In this case, six people are recognized as the victims.

Six people were injured as a result of his crimes.
