Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan.16 / Trend , A.Huseynbala /

The Azerbaijani Council of State Support to non-government organizations (NGOs) under Azerbaijani President has toughened the rules for the competition in 2010.

Some NGOs have not been provided with necessary documents, some of them have not executed proper rules of the competition in previous years, chairman of the Azerbaijani Council of State Support to NGOs Azay Guliyev told Trend today.

"Our new committee including representatives of the press will send the documents that do not meet the terms of the competition for examination. If the examination confirms the discrepancy of submitted documents, these projects will not participate in the competition", Guliyev said.

Guliyev said that unlike 2008 and 2009 the projects with technical deficits will not be provided with a positive conclusion in 2010.

Guliyev said that the Council will ensure the transparent examination of documents. "We will comply with norms that are applied by all international organizations. NGOs should be interested in conduct of activities in accordance with these rules," he added.
