The trial of an individual accused of manufacturing counterfeit money has begun in Azerbaijan.
Lankaran region resident Bahruz Yagubov and Hussein Javadov have pleaded not guilty at the Baku Serious Crimes Court.
The judicial review will continue until Jan. 29.
Yagubov and Javadov used a scanner and printer to counterfeit money in their studio.
The Lankaran City Police Department arrested the accused Sept. 17. During the search, they found and seized 1,100 manat.
The accused are charged with Article 204.2 (Manufacturing Counterfeit Money) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
