A trial over Azerbaijani citizen accused of committing serious crimes in Russia and Kazakhstan, has begun.

Prosecutor read out on Shamkir region's resident Fazail Farzaliyev's criminal case at Serious Crimes Court and demanded 15 years imprisonment for Farzaliyev.

The verdict will be announced March 19.

Farzaliyev, charged with Article 178 (swindle) of the Criminal Code was sentenced to 11 years imprisonment. During his sentence serving it was revealed that he committed more serious crimes.

It was revealed that Farzaliyev has committed deliberate murder in Russia and Kazakhstan. As a result of operational activities carried out jointly by the employees of the Head Department for Criminal Investigation and Organized Crime of the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan, Shamkir Region Police Department, Absheron Region Police Department and Sumgayit City Police Department Farzaliev has been again brought to justice.
