TREND International News Agency awarded the Turkish TV channel TRT AVAZ for its achievements in the development of fraternal and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
According to deputy director of Trend Emil Huseynli, who presented the award, TRT AVAZ has special merits in the development of cultural and historical cooperation between the Turkic peoples, including between fraternal Azerbaijan and Turkey.
"During the year since its establishment, TRT AVAZ has been acting as a bridge to strengthen cooperation between the Turkic peoples. I am confident that TRT AVAZ in its future activities will contribute to propaganda of the history and culture of the Turkic peoples on the territory where it is broadcasted," said Huseynli.
Expressing gratitude to TREND for the award, coordinator of the TRT AVAZ said that the channel operates for the unity of the Turkic world.
"In this regard we felt the support of Azerbaijan, with which we are one nation with two states. We also express our gratitude to the Public Television, which since the beginning of our activities has showed its friendly and fraternal attitude. I express my gratitude to TREND as well for its attitude," said the coordinator of TRT AVAZ.
The common Turkic channel TRT AVAZ broadcast in 27 countries on the frequency of "TURKSAT 3a, 11.581 Mhz, 4444 Symbol rate, 3 / 4 Fec" in Turkish, Azerbaijani, Kazak, Uzbek, Kyrgyz and Turkmen languages.
