Azerbaijan, Baku, March 30 / Trend E.Ismayilov /
The President of Azerbaijan Federation of Football Associations (AFFA) has expressed his attitude towards the scandals at a football match between Khazar-Lankaran and Neftchi.
"The Azerbaijani football is developing rapidly. Therefore a huge fuss flaring up around it, but it must not go beyond limit," AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists today.
The Khazar Lankaran team played Neftchi in Lankaran during the Twenty-Fifth Unibank Premier League Tournament March 27. Khazar-Lankaran's management and football experts later said referee Afgan Gamzayev made questionable calls in favor of Neftchi.
Khazar-Lankaran's fans and football specialists reproached the Azerbaijani Professional Football League (PFL), asking them to review the referee's calls during the match.
According to Abdullayev, yesterday expert groups of AFFA again viewed the film shot during the match. "The conclusion of the expert group will be publicized today," he added.
