Azerbaijan sentenced individuals accused of petrol theft.
Serious Crimes Court sentenced operative authorized 37 Police station of Khatai District Police Department, Police Major Natig Aslanov to three years imprisonment, the head of FF Company Fikret Gasimov to nine years, his brother Farhad Gasimov to six years, Rovshan Mammadov to eight years and three months, Ilgar Salayev to four years, Khanlar Guliyev to six years imprisonment.
Ilham Hasanov, Elkhan Huseynov, Alikhan Huseynov, Knyaz Aliyev received two years conditional punishment.
The accused individuals were arrested by employees of Interior Ministry's Head Department on Combating Organized Crime in August, 2009.
Members of the group are charged because of entering into a criminal collusion, secretly laid the pipe connecting the production shop and storage for ready products of Heydar Aliyev oil refinery, and pumped petrol.
The group members sold stolen petrol of АI-95.
They are charged with Article 177.3.1 and 177.3.2 (theft committed by organized group with causing damage in large size) of the Criminal Code.
