The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has published the 'Gabusname' book- the monument of Eastern culture, in the Russian language, the foundation reported.

The 'Gabusname' book, which addresses important issues of education and ethics, has retained its relevance to this day. In the middle ages the poem written in 1082-1083 by the Shah of Gilan state located in the southern territory of Azerbaijan, Keykavus, was a handbook of the Azerbaijani rulers, as well as religious leaders, scientists and teachers. The book, which was kept during this period in the family of every educated man, played a major role in educating the younger generation and was handed down from generation to generation as a source of spirituality, a textbook on ethics.

The book presented to the Russian readers gives an idea about the culture, history and philosophy of the East and the associated unbreakable threads of Azerbaijan. The book is in a sophisticated design with color illustrations and published with 1,000 editions.

The "'Gabusname' book entered a series of various publications issued by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The foundation publishes books that tell us about the realities of Azerbaijan, the true nature of the Karabakh war, as well as about the cultural values of the Azerbaijani people, history and famous people. These publications can be considered a rich source of information for young readers.

The foundation is also engaged in publishing works of the Azerbaijani classics and researchers in the various languages of the world, publishing samples of the foreign literature in the Azerbaijani language.
