Kazinform, AMI TREND sign partnership agreement

The Kazakh News Agency Kazinform and the Azerbaijani International News Agency (AMI) TREND have signed an agreement on in the information field. The signing took place in Seoul in the framework of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) Summit Congress. The document was signed by AMI Trend General Director Ilgar Huseynov and Kazinform President Dauren Diyarov.
Based on the document, the parties will regularly exchange operational information and analytical materials, as well as photographs on the latest developments in domestic and international life in their countries. The parties also intend to cooperate closely in organizing and providing informational support for visits of heads of states and official delegations, as well as other interstate events and activities held in the territory of the two countries.
The Kazinform National Information Agency is an open joint-stock company with 100 percent of the stock held by the government. Kazinform news is posted on the agency's website (www.inform.kz) in Kazakh, Russian and English. The agency broadcasts complete and accurate information about government activity, regional administrative bodies, and national financial and industrial entities, and all spheres of social, economic and political life of the regions and world community. Its headquarters are in Astana.
