Azerbaijan, Baku, May 4 / Trend, H.Bagirov /
Accused in connection with an armed attack at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (ASOA) in April last year, Arif Gabulov gave evidences at the trial on May 3.
Today at the Court on Heinous Crimes, Gabulov did not recognize himself guilty upon the charges under articles 206 (smuggling) and 228 (illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of firearms, component parts, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan and said that he was introduced to Farda Gadirov by a bus driver named Elvard.
"At that time, I was looking for lessee for my brother's home. Elvard told me that he found a client for this home. "After that I became acquainted with Farda Gadirov and arrived in Baku by bus, for which he worked as a driver assistant, and leased my brother's home to Gadirov," said Gabulov.
Gabulov noted that he did not know Farda Gadirov before and the import of weapons through customs control.
Speaking about Gadirov's behavior, Gabulov said that he always complained about his parents, and hatred concealed in his talks.
"Farda was an aggressive person. When I asked him about this hatred for his parents, he replied that he wanted to marry a girl, but his parents prevented him. Therefore, he was always dissatisfied with their parents. I did not know that he planned to become rich and known in the shortest possible time. When I asked about the reason of Fard's arrival in Baku, he replied that through a relative he is going to get a job at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. For about one and a half months he lived at my home. During this time, I asked him about the reason for the delay in employment, and he replied that he faced problems of registration. Farda Gadirov said that he would find a job at the market. Approximately two days after this talk, I learned that Farda Gadirov committed a crime at ASOA," said the accused.
