Azerbaijani and Ukrainian scholars will study oil and gas potential of the Caspian-Black Sea basin.
A decision was made to prepare a project on "Study of the Oil and Gas Potential of the Caspian-Black Sea basin given modern geodynamics" during the visit of scholars of the Institute of Geology of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences to the scientific institutes of Ukraine, the Institute of Geology of the Azerbaijani Academy of Sciences said.
This project will be implemented together with leading research centers and universities in Europe and represented in the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union.
The plan for future cooperation with Ukrainian scholars includes training and exchange of experience.
