The Azerbaijani team took second place this week in the Zorkhana wrestling tournament in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, the ILNA reported.
Iranian wrestlers finished first. The Tajik and Afghan teams took third.
The second Zorkhana tournament was held in Dushanbe July 11-12. Teams from Azerbaijan, Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal participated.
The first Zorkhana tournament was held in Baku March 13-17, 2009.
