The U.S. Navy Five-Star Brass Band is holding a workshop for 15 young musicians at the Mardakan Orphanage in Azerbaijan today in the run-up to the Gabala International Music Festival.
The band is training young musicians for the upcoming Gabala International Music Festival.
Director Roger Starcher said that his band will perform classic, jazz and military music at the festival, adding that his musicians hope to build relations with young Azerbaijani artists.
"These events will help us to realize our goals. These children are highly skilled and we wish them the utmost success in the upcoming event," he added.
The Gabala International Music Festival will be held July 23-Aug.5.
