Azerbaijani rowers get bronze at world championship

Azerbaijani rowers of academic style won the bronze medal at the world championship, the National Rowing Federation told Trend.
Azerbaijan national team has successfully completed the world rowing championship among athletes in the age of 18, held in the Czech town. Toni Boteva, Radoslav Drenovsky - Alexander Glotov represented Azerbaijan in the main final. Drenovsky-Glotov won a bronze medal.
Our sportsmen ranked second at a distance of 2,000 meters and reached the semi-final.
Glotov and Drenovsky ranked first in the semi-final. Boteva ranked third and reached the main final.
Our sportsmen ranked third with a result of 6 minutes 56.06 seconds in the main final.
Athletes from Greece and Germany ranked first. Boteva with the result of 8 minutes 11.57 seconds ranked sixth competing with athletes from Germany, Romania, Greece, Holland and Latvia.
