A criminal case has been filed on a prisoner's escape from a detention centre, located in Azerbaijan.
Detainee Meftun Musayev escaped from the detention centre of the Binagadi District Police Department Aug.15, Binagadi District Prosecutor's Office told Trend.
Musayev, arrested under article 180 (robbery), in connection with the extension of detention term a few days ago was transferred from the pre-trial prison № 3, located in Shuvalan to the Binagadi District Police Department's detention centre.
Binagadi District Prosecutor's Office filed a criminal case under Article 304 (Runaway from a place of imprisonment, from place of arrest or from place of guard) of the Criminal Code.
At present, operative search measures are underway to catch Musayev.
