Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources announced the results of studies conducted to verify compliance with environmental legislation.
"The Ministry conducted investigation in order to verify the situation on compliance with environmental legislation from 1 to 15 August. During monitoring, 230 protocols and acts were compiled for offenses committed by legal entities and individuals, 69 enforcement requirements were made to address these violations," Ministry's spokesperson Irada Ibrahimova told Trend on August 25.
According to Ibrahimova, generally penalties were applied in amount of 82,550 manat over 86 cases, of which 6,369 manat was paid.
