The evening of Azerbaijan was organized in Ankara within II International Festival of Ramadan, the press service of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora said on August 30.
During the event, held in the Kechioren region of the Turkish capital, with the participation of representatives of Muslim countries of Asia and Africa, speeches were made by the head of the district municipality Mustafa Ak, advisor of the embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkey Rashad Vahabzade, chairman of the Turkish-Azerbaijani circle Sinan Ogan, the representatives of the State Committee for Diaspora Elnar Mammadov. It was told that "our peoples share common culture and every day the fraternal ties strengthen in accordance with the words of the great leader Heydar Aliyev "one nation, two states".
Participants got familiarized with the stand of Azerbaijan, established on the festival site by the embassy. Here the residents of Ankara has been given extensive information about Azerbaijan, distributed books, brochures and CD. Most of these materials tells us about the life and work of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
