A group dealing with sale of fake banknotes was sentenced in Azerbaijan.
The Narimanov District Court sentenced Babek Hasanov to 3-years of imprisonment. Aybaniz Mammadova was sentenced to 5-years conditional imprisonment and was released from the court hall.
The Narimanov District Police Department No.18' employees detained resident of Imishli region Hasanov on Jan.11, while selling 11 banknotes of 20 manat and 1 banknote of 100 manat.
As a result of operative actions, Mammadova selling him fake banknotes was detained. About 13 fake banknotes of 20 manat were revealed while searching.
