The number of appeals submitted to the Azerbaijani Supreme Court increased by 10 percent in the first eight months of 2010 compared to the same period 0f 2009, Supreme Court Chairman Ramiz Rzayev told journalist on Saturday.
Rzayev said about 75 percent of them are accounted for civil matters. The most of complaints are related to issues of property, inheritance and divorce.
"Three-quarters of the complaints received by the Supreme Court relate to civil matters, while the rest of the appeal relate to criminal and military affairs," Rzayev said.
