The leadership of the Kyrgyz state penal service visited Azerbaijan on Sept. 26-28, a spokesman for Azerbaijan's Ministry of Justice and Penal Service has told Trend.
The Kyrgyz representatives visited Azerbaijani prisons, including Prison No. 4 for women.
Deputy Justice Minister, Lieutenant-General Nazim Alekperov received the Kyrgyz delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the State Service of Punishment Execution, Galibek Gachginaliyev.
The guests expressed their satisfaction with changes in the penitentiary system of Azerbaijan, as well as new prisons. The exchange of experience will play a positive role in their activity in the future, the guests said.
