After obtaining full membership of AIESEC International in 2009, this year AIESEC Azerbaijan is starting a new chapter in its history. The organization is focusing on delivering high quality experiences to its members, building projects relevant to society's needs and being connected to the organization's global network, the Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Ministry reported. AIESEC, the world's largest student-run volunteering organization recruits students from Baku to enable next generation of AIESEC in Azerbaijan leaders. The project aims to recruit the most enthusiastic and responsible Azerbaijani 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of study students to participate in its activities throughout the upcoming year.
AIESEC in Azerbaijan will enable the most responsible students from Baku universities to develop their leadership and management skills, gain practical experience in project management, training, human resources, marketing, advertising and fundraising by delivering projects and being part of AIESEC activities. Members of AIESEC will have the chance to attend international youth conferences and learn together with internationals coming to Azerbaijan from all over the world and understand various cultures.
AIESEC Azerbaijan is opening four local offices in Baku Universities and is offering intense membership and leadership experiences by opening vice president and president positions for its members in December.
