A "Circle of Azerbaijani culture Buta" was created at the Turkish and Azerbaijani languages Faculty at the Korean Foreign Languages University.
Members of the Azerbaijani-Korean student organization Zaur Safarov and Chinara Agajanova will teach Azerbaijani national dances to Korean students, the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Diaspora reported.
The organization will introduce the history, culture and art of Azerbaijan to Korean students by holding various events.
It is also planned to organize lessons of oral oratory for Korean students studying the Azerbaijani language.
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Korea provided the Circle with informational materials and national costumes for dance lessons.
The Turkish and Azerbaijani languages Faculty was opened in 2008. After successful completion of the preparatory work for the launching of the faculty from the spring semester of 2009, there were opened the Azerbaijani language courses.
