The Netherlands has issued stamps featuring the emblem of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The Dutch Communications Ministry officially released into circulation postage stamps featuring the emblem of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation upon the initiative of Honorary President of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in the Benelux countries Sahil Gasimov and the organization's order, the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Diaspora reported.
Letters with these stamps will be sent throughout Europe. In addition to emblem, the "Heydar Aliyev Foundation" words were depicted on stamps.
The Azerbaijani Embassy in the Netherlands contributed to the issuance of new stamps. The presentation is planned to be held in the near future.
The Congress of Azerbaijanis in the Benelux countries, which operates in Rotterdam and informs the Dutch citizens about Azerbaijan, and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which has a special role in spreading the truth about Azerbaijan in Europe, have established close cooperation.
This cooperation started with at a time when the Foundation provided the Sunday schools for Azerbaijani children opened in Amsterdam and Rotterdam with textbooks and teaching supplies, and Foundation's comprehensive care for schools.
Moreover, the Foundation has provided the Congress with books, pamphlets and other visual aids reflecting information about Azerbaijan, the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the Khojali genocide
