Kazakh representative to UNESCO proposes to reconsider school textbooks

A well-known Kazakh poet, a representative of Kazakhstan to UNESCO Olzhas Suleimenov proposed to reconsider school textbooks on modern history in all countries on their content of hatred towards other peoples.
"I would like UNESCO to be the initiator of any international act or international law, which would have forced all governments to pay special attention to the humanities and especially books of history at schools," he said at the Global Forum of Spiritual Culture in Astana.
The poet said that unfortunately, the current generation receives hatred after leaving school.
