Azerbaijani embassy in France has received a reply to its letter to the Parliament concerning the visit of a group of French parliamentarians led by Francois Rochebloine to Nagorno-Karabakh, press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told.
The letter of reply says that President of the National Assembly of France Bernard Accoyer was unaware of the visit, learnt about it after the embassy's letter.
Bernard Accoyer says this visit was by no means the official mission of the National Assembly, it was the private visit of the French parliamentarians. He adds that the visit was not financed by the National Assembly. Bernard Accoyer underlines that the informal position of these parliamentarians will not cast shadow on the efforts of France that continues to find the peaceful solution to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the Minsk Group.
