The World Championship Silver Medalist, twenty two years old Victoria Chepikova will perform in the Azerbaijan national team, the Azerbaijani National Rowing Federation told Trend on Saturday.
The Federation started to work on further strengthening of the women's rowing team. To this end, Chepikova was invited to our country. Earlier Chepikova represented the Belarusian team. Our coaches hope that she will be able to show better results in double and quad scull.
Chepikova has been participating in the World and European Championships since 2005. She has already won silver at the first serious competition - the World Junior Championships. In the majority of the subsequent events, Chepikov reached the final, which means that her experience could be useful in the development of our women's rowing team.
