A new version of the "Code of Professional Ethics of Azerbaijani Journalists" will be discussed at the twelfth meeting of the Alliance of Independent Press Councils of Europe (AIPCE), the Azerbaijani Press Council reported today.
Press Council Chairman Aflatun Amashov will participate in the event in Amsterdam on Nov. 4-5
The congress will hear reports by press councils from over 30 countries and exchange views on the similarities and differences of these structures.
The agenda also includes discussions related to media-citizen relations, pluralism, media and online journalism, and professional ethics online.
Changes in the code have been made on the basis of European values.
