Georgia will be able to conclude military agreements with other countries both at the state and at the governmental level.

Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov. 10 /Trend, N.Kirtskhalia/

Georgia will be able to conclude military agreements with other countries both at the state and at the governmental level. This is envisaged by the amendments to the law on international agreements that were considered today by the foreign relations committee of the Parliament.
The bill was presented to MPs by the deputy parliamentary secretary of President Irakli Gorduladze.

According to him, the fact that under the current law, Georgia can enter into military contracts only at the state level often cause a nuisance, since some countries concluded such agreements only at the governmental or departmental level. Gorduladze noted that the proposed amendments will correct this situation.

The foreign relations committee supported the bill in first reading.
