Azerbaijani ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova and MP Ganira Pashayeva have been today at the military division located in Tovuz region of Azerbaijan. They participated at the ceremony of taking oath of allegiance by soldiers and expressed their congratulations to them. The ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova made the statement before soldiers. She congratulated them also on occasion of the Gurban Bayram holiday. "Along with the sacred holiday the significant for us oath ceremony is held today", she said.
"The great work in the formation of the army is carrying out in our country recent years. The formation of the army is very important for the republic, which territory's 20 percent was occupied and where about one million refugees and internally displaced persons lives. I see here today the Azerbaijani army with a high level of training. This instills in our hearts the belief that victory is in sight. Young soldiers swore allegiance to country before us, before the Azerbaijani people, today. And we, in our turn, must always support them", the Ombudsman said.
Suleymanova also told the young soldiers about the worthy pages of the modern history of Azerbaijan.
MP Ganira Pashayeva, congratulated the soldiers, parents and the entire Azerbaijani people with the most sacred holiday in the Muslim world - Qurban Bairam, wished success and victories to the people. She noted that holding the sacred holiday along with the soldiers is very worthy.
"The celebration of the holiday with the soldiers, who are away from their families, protecting the borders of our motherland, is our civil duty. The essence of the general-in-chief appeals to us, intellectuals and deputies, is precisely that we were always close to our soldiers in all significant days and holidays and escorted them together. It instills in them a high spirit, and they feel constantly surrounded with attention and care", she said.
Pashayeva, congratulated the parents of young soldiers in connection with the offering of their children the military oath, noted, that it is the most significant moment in the life of each parent.
Fazil Ibrahimov, the uncle of the National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov, spoke about the heroism of his nephew, and wished all soldiers to be as brave and courageous, as his nephew.
Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova and MP Ganira Pashayeva gave gifts to the young soldiers.
