Abulgasim Galamsiyah, a founder of Iranian nuclear physics, died in Iran today at the age of 90. He has already been buried, the official website of the Iranian IRIBNews TV channel reported.
As a founder of Iranian nuclear physics, he devoted more than 50 years to the sciences and taught a large number of scientists engaged in nuclear developments in Iran, head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi said at the funeral.
Galamsiyah was a leading adviser to the Iranian Organization for Nuclear Energy. He also wrote 10 books on nuclear physics, including a physics textbook and numerous scientific articles.
