A jackpot of 4.4 million lari ($2.5 million ) was won in Georgia. The winner was determined during yesterday's National Lottery draw, the lottery company reported.
Refugee from Abkhazia Zamira Tordinava is the winner of the first jackpot in the history of the National Lottery of Georgia.
She has already come to the company holding the National Lottery. Tordinava, who lives in a dormitory of refugees in Tbilisi, has not yet decided what to do with the money.
According to her, she bought only one ticket and it was lucky one.
