Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 12 / Trend K.Zarbaliyeva /

A preparatory session on criminal case of attacking Azerbaijani pop singer Faiq Agayev was held.

The singer did not appear at a meeting held under the chairmanship of Judge Ilgar Murguzov in the Heinous Crimes Court.

The singer appealed to the court to conduct the trial without his participation.

According to the decision, the case will be considered on Jan. 26.

Passengers in an Audi, registered 10-FA-222 and driven by Agayev, got into an argument with the driver and his passengers of a VAZ-2107 in the Nasimi district of Baku on the morning of Sept. 27.The cause of dispute was the reluctance of drivers to give way to each other.
